prague astronomical clock, also known as prague orloy (orloj) was first built in 1410. it is third oldest astronomical clock in the world, the only one which still works. every hour, there are figures of 12 apostles appearing over the clock and the trumpeter plays a short melody. i am pretty sure, orloy is one of the crowdiest places in prague, with all the tourists waiting for the apostles to apprear. i think it is a third crowdiest attraction in prague, after the castle and charles bridge

kolejnym miejscem wartym odwiedzenia jest powstale w 1997 roku muzeum figur woskowych. znajdzuje sie ono na starym miescie, pomiedzy staromestsky namesti a wieza prochowa. muzeum podobalo mi sie ze wzgledu na to, ze poza oczywistymi osobami znajdujacymi sie w tego typu muzeach, czesi umiescili takze figury swoich bohaterow narodowych i innych postaci bliskich czeskim sercom. ponadto figury ustawione sa w kolejnosci chronologicznej, zaczyna sie wiec od postaci sredniowiecznych a konczy na wspolczesnych, zyjacych jeszcze postaciach.

another place worth visiting is a wax museum. open in 1997, located in the old town area, between old town square and powder tower. i liked it for few reasons. firstly, czechs placed there some figures of their own national heros and other movie/legend figures which are close to their hearts (there also are 'obvious' figures like m.jackson or m.jagger etc). secondly, the figures are arranged in chronological order, you'll start from middle ages heros and continue towards recent characters.
